AYC CONSTITUTION

SECTION 3 : LIFE-MEMBERSHIP

Section 3.1         : NOMINATIONS FOR LIFE MEMBERSHIP

    a) Nomination(s) for Life Membership(s) must be in writing and handed to the secretary prior to the start of the Annual General Meeting.

    b) Any recommendations to the alteration of the constitution must be in writing and handed to the secretary prior to the start of the AGM.

    c) Such power to be used on the basis of two (2) Life-Memberships per year as a maximum. It is not necessary for this to be used.

Section 3.2         : AUTOMATIC LIFE-MEMBERSHIP

    a) Life membership of the Ashburton Young Cricketers Cricket Club will be awarded to players that have reached 300 games with the club.          b) Junior games may be included in the total.

Section 3.3         : PRIVILEGES OF LIFE-MEMBERSHIP

Life Members are a permanent member of the club, privileges of being a life member include but limited to:

    a) They have all the rights and privileges of a fully paid member.

    b) They are welcome to all club functions.

    c) They have the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

    d) They will be able to be nominated for any position made vacant at the Annual General Meeting.

    e) They are entitled to any discounts offered to fully paid member of the club.

    f) Discount related to subs and any other financial benefits already stated in the clubs constitution will apply.

    g) They may attend each scheduled committee meeting.
